Eye halve a spelling chequer
It came with my pea sea
It plainly marques four my revue
Miss steaks eye kin knot sea.

Eye strike a key and type a word
And weight four it two say
Weather eye am wrong oar write
It shows me strait a weigh

As soon as a mist ache is maid
It nose bee fore two long
And eye can put the error rite
Its rare le a ever wrong.

Eye have run this poem threw it
I am shore your pleased two no
Its letter perfect awl the weigh
My chequer tolled me sew

I would never complain, but only because my spelling is so bad! I just wish the alternatives were in larger, readable type!

I worked for a news paper in high school and College, everyone else had an editor, I had a designated speller!

God Bless my damn spell checker.

Gary - Great and so very true. What bothers me more are the "incorrect" suggestions my software makes for my grammer.

I often find a "wrong" word that passed spell-check muster. You really have to be careful.

Spell checkers can't catch it when you have spelled a word correctly but mean another word -- the human eye is best.

Gary, eye be leave that sum wear some thyme in the few chore will luck back and this will halve bee come hour prop her gram err. Knot sew sure about "twelvity"!

I am thankful for the gramer cheker it sur servs me well.

I have found more than once that here on AR a lot can get through the cracks.

This has been funny, a great way to start the week. I'm sure that I have been guilty of some misspelled words or misused words.

Leave it to you to come up with this... Very clever indeed. I will admit it took my old brain a minute to read it though...

I see you're a natural for LOL cats, Gary. Have you posted any photos on that site? If so, let me know, and I'll run over and recommend your entry. I scroll through that site every time I get annoyed, which is why I can stay so happy in this business. Turn frustration into laughter, I say.
