Now Applebee's is stepping into the ring of "giving back".  And this time it's for our noble miliary.

As a way of saying "Thank You!" to the men and women who are serving and have served our country, Applebees will be giving both active and retired military personnel a FREE entree on Veterans Day, November 11, 2009 (which happens to be the Marine Corps birthday).

 Active and retired military personnel can choose from the following entrees:

• Three Cheese Chicken Penne
• Fire Pit Bacon Burger
• Fiesta Lime Chicken
• Chicken Tenders Platter
• 7 oz. Sirloin Steak
• Oriental Chicken Salsa

Available during business hours on November 11, 2009 at participating Applebee's only.  It's also available for dine-in only. 

In order to receive your free meal, veterans and active duty military simply show proof of military service.  The proofs that are acceptable are:

• U.S. Uniform Services Identification Card
• U.S. Uniform Services Retired Identification Card
• Current Leave and Earnings Statement (LES)
• Veterans Organization Card (i.e., American Legion and VFW)
• Photograph in uniform
• Wearing uniform
