We prove ourselves in doing what's required to succeed, and many times the initial steps are small. Those steps may seem to be unimportant at the time but they become the foundation to our success.  

Be receptive to doing the small jobs at hand, and to do them with excellence to achieve exceptional results. When we do the small jobs with exceptional results we form a habit of excellences.  

The excellence that we demonstrate in doing the small jobs opens the doors of doing the big jobs with the same excellences.
