Here is a little something that I was reading about earlier this morning that I thought I would share. I'm not a big fan of what I often refer to as the 'bad' news, whether it be on television, online or in the form of a newspaper. I tend to avoid it as I find it depressing and sad.
That being said, I also recognize my need, and the importance, to understand what is going on in my community, throughout my nation and world wide, so.... I have discovered a new approach in acknowledgement of the human condition.
Every time we hear the news, every time we pick up a newspaper or see the headlines, we can just consider these headlines and these news reports as prayer requests. We can hold all of what occurs to be in disarray in our world as an opportunity for the power of The Universe.
From this day forward I am going to try my very best to pay attention to those who may need a little (or a lot) of assistance from their fellow man and if all that I can do to contribute is through the power of prayer... I'm on board. And... all about the LOVE!
