BURNING BUSH!

Burning Bush by Bob Haywood

The sun popped out for a brief while this afternoon and when I saw it I ran outside to capture this picture.  This shrub is called a burning bush.  It is supposed to turn red in the fall, but this is the first year in the last several that it has looked this good.  It will get firey red and then all the leaves will drop to the ground when the show is over.

I thought you might enjoy seeing the colors of fall here in the great plains of Oklahoma!

LOVE IT!  We get color change for about one day and then the wind blows all the leaves off the next!  Hope all is well in OK!

That bush is gorgeous.  I don't think we have them here in FL.  Very creative blog title!

Bob,

Great shot; I love this time of year. It's the next bit I dread.

Love it Bob - we too have certain bushes that flower in certain times of the year - and than POOF - they're gone.  So fun to capture the beauty!

What a gorgeous bush!  No wonder Moses was attracted to it... besides the voice speaking from it!

Great title! It's so red it looks like it's on fire. Love the fall colors.
