I started writing my blog on January 20,2009,
and as I write this post, it will be number 451.
I'm a prolific blogger and am rapidly approaching
the 200,000 point plateau. It WAS about the points,
now it's morphed into being more about providing enjoyment
for the reader and honing my scribbling skills.

My posts are varied, however I tend toward
humour and satire, but I tackle pretty much any
subject. Along the way, I have attracted a bit of a
readership; people seem to enjoy my writing quite a bit.
This got me thinking. Others may enjoy reading my stuff as well.
Larry Easto, (in Toronto), and I have been talking recently, and we are
collaborating on putting together a book of my posts.

This will likely be broken down into about 10 chapters:
Humour, satire, politics, current events, human interest,
my "alter ego", The Blogging Guy, etc.
When completed, this will be sent to my past and present clients,
and given to promising future clients.
I've already had several requests
from fellow "Rainers".
Done in colour and nicely bound, it's not
likely to be a throw-away item.
Between juggling real estate, relationships, family and now
a book, it gets a little hairy, but I think in the end it will be a good marketing tool
and fun to compile. Watch for it in May/ June.
Terry,
Very interesting. I like you thought that you started writing for points, and now it morphed into something bigger. I totally agree with that. for me writing is a form of thinking, and I cherish that opportunity.
