I wouldn't mind living on a lake just for the fact of enjoying the beautiful views!

Bill ~  I hope to live near the water again... I loved overlooking the pacific ocean when we lived in San Francisco.  Now those seals barking were another story all together (lol)!

Hi Joan, what a gorgous picture...though it does look a little chill to us Floridians.  Is that Lake W?

Joan - Beautiful photo and very nice quote. I see the leaves have already fallen from the trees. We are still having some gorgeous foliage. Wish this season would stay just a little longer. Sigh.

Joan - what a lovely picture - so inviting and the quote and text goes perfectly with it.  I love all the local content you are presenting on your blog for consumers and if anyone is looking for real estate in NH how could they not choose to work with you!  Awesome! ~Anne Marie

Joan that is a great quote to get me going this morning.  From your pictures,  fall is very spectacular in your area.  Combine the colors with the waterfront and you have a winner.

Beautiful photo Joan! One of the things I love (and miss) about New Hampshire is all of the lakes and ponds, very tranquil, nice quote too.

Okay Joan - This photo is so appealing.  I'd love to be sitting on the porch of that home in the middle, enjoying the fall day at the lake.

Joan, Beautiful quote and I love journies.  That picture is lovely and makes me wish I could do that, it must feel like flying when he's moving across the water!

Debbie -- It is a "little" colder here in So. NH than it is in Florida... However, it doesn't seems to stop those who love the water.  I think we get thick skin.  This is a small lake/pond in Kingston... very nice.

Judy -- We still have some leave left, but peak is pretty much over... and in some areas the leaves are down.  I am not quite ready for that white stuff!

Anne Marie -- thanks for your kind words.  I do love this quote and it did go so nicely with the photo... I am not very wordless so this type of things works much better form than the wordless posts.

Jennifer ~  I wish I had gotten this shot before so many leaves had blown off.  We had a lot of rain and all of sudden -- puff-- the leave began to fall.  It has been spectacular. I am enjoying your fall tours in New York.

Susan ~ Ditto.. I would love to own a home on a beautiful lake like this.  It is the perfect time of year to enjoy the final days of fall.  The days are warm and the nights certainly "hint" that winter is one the way.

Carole ~  I am with you... it would be so much fun to dance on top of the water as one sails through the day.  I would think the journey would be a lot of fun!

George ~ You are right... our days with warm weather are numbered!  It is not going to last for long... and then there will be all of that white stuff.

Gorgeous water front homes in Southern New Hampshire!  I think I could just sit on one of those decks with my laptop and peacefully work all day long ;)

Hi Joan, Such a great quote and gorgeous photo to go with it. It does look like a beautiful fall day, and I like the way the red sail is reflected in the cool blue water - very nice.

New Hampshire looks interesting even without the leaves; I would love to visit but preferably in the summer.
