Floating Eyeballs make a great dessert.  Of course, you have begun your meal with EyeTinis which have a different kind of eyeball in it.   This dessert is wonderful especially if you like cheesecake :0)   Would you like the recipe?

3 oz lemon gelatin
1 cup hot water
1/2 cup miniature marshmallows
1 cup pineapple juice
8 oz cream cheese

Dissolve lemon gelatin in 1 cup water, add marshmallows and stir to melt. Remove from heat. Add pineapple juice and cream cheese. Beat until well blended. Cool slightly.

If you have round ice cube trays, spary them with non-stick cooking spray first, then pour the mixture in the molds and leave to set in the fridge.

Otherwise pour into a deep dish and chill until thickened or firm enough to use a melonballer to scoop full balls of the mixture and set aside for decoration.

To decorate, use liquid food coloring and an artists paintbrush and get creative. You could use black food coloring for the pupils but I like the gel icing that comes in a little tube - makes the pupils shiny.

HAVE FUN !

Steve, lol.   I have to admit, body parts make a great meal.  I did a 'buffet' one year that was made to look like a body on a granite table.  All the 'dishes' were to mimic different parts of the body, mainly organs.  It was disgusting and everyone LOVED it.

No, it wasn't my Christmas Dinner!    Thanks for stopping by and I hope you have a happy halloween!

Amy -  they really are quite tasty and kids (of all ages!) love picking them up with their fingers and popping them into their mouth.  You can use sugar-free jello if you like too.   I hope his party is a hit!  Happy Halloween.

We used to do this kind of thing for parties when our sons were little. Once we made  "cat litter cookies" which tasted great but were so realistic no one would eat them. "Dirty bathwater punch" went over well, though.

I've never made cat litter cookies before but I have done a kitty litter cake in the actual litter tray complete with pooper scooper and poops hanging over the edge of the tray - disgusting but a good fund raiser for the humane society!

What is "Dirty Bathwater Punch"?
