We could call this Networking for a Cause as well. 

I am a passionate supporter of the American Cancer Society.  My daughter is a community representative for the ACS and has gotten me involved most recently in team membership and development for the RELAY FOR LIFE events coming up next spring.  Notice the graphic with next year's theme.

Over the years my wife and I have supported the Relay for Life through our RE/MAX office first, then particpating with other teams and organizations.  Rebecca, my daughter was involved right along with us and took the whole involvement to a huge level in college and now as a career.

Every time I get involved with a cause, I meet new people, find out that they have real estate needs, and hence, start working with them as clients.  I am not in this for the money, but it certainly helps to find like minded people to work with and enjoy new friendships with.

This week, I have a dlilema.  Tomorrow is my Halloween office party with Ghoul Juice and food, or a Kck-Off party for the Relay for Life group for East Boca Raton.  I choose both.  I will just go light on the Ghoul Juice.
