Help Name Our New October Pet

By
Real Estate Agent with Brand Name Real Estate

It is very fitting that we had this little guy visit us this month. He or she has decided to make a tree on our property his new home. Personally, I am glad that he is there. I can't imagine that any little rodent or critter wanting to come anywhere near us now.

We have yet to come up with a name for him/her yet. Any suggestions?

Well, there's:

  1. Owl from Winnie the Pooh
  2. Bubo from Clash of the Titans
  3. Hedwig from Harry Potter
  4. Friend Owl from Bambi
  5. Archimedes from the Sword in the Stone

Personally, I'd go with Hedwig, just because it is pretty much an awesome name.  Plus, who doesn't like Harry Potter?

How about Hoot? You could even tie him/her into your marketing ... the Hoot and Hart Team.

I was thinking Hootie and the Hart Team (sort of like Hootie and the Blow Fish) but John beat me to it!

Hi Jim & Maria:

I was thinking HOOTIE!

I see that others are thinking along the same lines...

I like Hootie also.  And I had to laugh at Carissa's suggestion of Hedwig.  My sister's mother in law is a lovely German woman named Hedwig and they kind of look alike.  The owl and her, that is.

How cool! I love owls! I found one sitting right on a speed limit sign in our neighborhood one time. It was a beautiful, small, grey one. I pulled up behind him in my car so I could put the lights on him. He turned his head all the way around and looked, then continued scanning for dinner =)  Nature is so amazing!

What a beautiful owl!  I think that she looks like a Claudia or Sophie.

Owls represent wisdom, so maybe Professor - but, I like Hootie and the Hart Team best too.
