Douglas AZ Independence Day Celebration, July 2-4th, 2007

Douglas will be teeming with activity for the July Fourth weekend. It starts
July 2 with a semi-pro baseball game at Copper King Stadium. There will also
be an international soccer and golf tournament, a car show and live music by
Ritmo Suave from Tucson and local bands Primetime and Indu. On Saturday, the
soccer tournament continues, and visitors can enjoy a remote control car &
plane show, home run contest, live music entertainment by Grupo Cover from
Tucson and Shining Star from Phoenix. The Fourth starts off with a parade at
10 a.m. along historic G Ave., then a Softball Tournament, ending with a
great fireworks show. Throughout the weekend, visitors can enjoy the live
entertainment, food booths, games and free swimming activities.
