In previous posts I mentioned  my daughter

is a stylist at a high-end salon. I had lunch with her

on her birthday and I happened to mention that I was

planning a trip to Cabo San Lucas, but was having trouble

finding suitable accomodation. Turns out she has a client who

owns a place down there. To make a long story longer, I had lunch

with the owner and I rented it for two weeks. Beautiful place! 2 bedrooms,

hot tub, 2 pools, internet, Canadian satellite T.V., wireless internet. (I can blog).

He even thought to put in an iron and board, microwave, BBQ & sound system.

He sent me the link to the website with all the pictures of the place.

Very tastefully furnished with lots of space.

I'm looking forward to this.

Cost? $800 a week Canadian. I'm going

with another couple, so, $400 a week each.

I'll be posting from there when I get there and

I'll send pictures of the nice beaches and dinner parties

when everyone else is freezing. It's the least I can do to help.

Have a great trip and lots of fun! I have heard the phrase "brutal winter" from former snowbirds from Canada, eh. 'Former', as  they are now owners of 2nd homes near the Carolina shore.

Can you send the army in to thaw us frozen Canadians?  Time to start building my igloo for the winter.

Why do you want to watch Canadian satellite TV while out of Canada???  Do you really want to watch simulcast commercials???

As a Fraser Valley Realtor with Homelife Glenayre, I specialize in the Mission/ Abbotsford areas. I live in the Mission area and make it a point to know this market intimately. From time to time I will feature local Mission businesses on my blog entries to give prospective buyers a little more insight into the area. As well as working with buyers and sellers in the Canadian market, I have networked with several realtors in Arizona, Nevada and California and together we market foreclosed on properties in the south 48.
