BRAC Relocation to Fort Bragg - Military Relocation Impact

The BRAC relocation has many of our military families relocating to many different regions based on the need of the Military.   It’s extremely important for Realtors to understand the sensitivity and need for assistance to the military families.   We need to work together to service referrals and our military families.   The first step will be to educate ourselves on exactly what is BRAC?

Definition of BRAC:  "BRAC" is an acronym that stands for Base Realignment and Closure.  It is the congressionally authorized process DoD has previously used to reorganize its base structure to more efficiently and effectively support our forces, increase operational readiness and facilitate new ways of doing business.

Sherinne, as a disabled veteran (US Army), I take military relocation very seriously!

As a matter of fact, my policy for military personnel is 100% full-service at "No-Charge".

That's right, I do not accept money from military personnel when PCSing or ETSing.

I've done 2 FREE deals this year for my military friends!  An Air Force couple retiring and moving home (here) and a Coast Guard couple PCSing in.

I love our military guys and gals and appreciate very much their service to our country.  I have a son that is Active Duty Army and a Nephew that is Active Duty Marine (in the sand box).

PLEASE, everyone take care of our guys and gals in uniform!  They deserve more!

I'm also with KW,I will add you to my relo list for your area. If you have anyone coming to Maryland let me know. My husband is working at the Pentagon and comes in contact with a lot of people.

Sherinne -

I'll keep watching your updates, interested in seeing what happens with Fort Bragg, which as you know is fairly close to Raleigh NC.

Sherrine and her husband did a great job for a listing referral I sent their way, and I recommend them highly for anyone with a referral to the Ft. Bragg area!  Glad to see your post in the Military Relocations Group, Sherrine.  With so much back and forth between Ft. Bragg and Ft. Meade in MD, I suspect we'll be doing more business in the future.
