I came across the unbelievable area around Mammoth Lakes California and fell in love with it right away. Who wouldn't enjoy such a beautiful back drop as what is shown in the photo (above).

It's certainly pretty as a postcard, but I'm pretty rooted right here in my home town Robert. But thanks for sharing the photo. Your posts and photos are like little mini vacations.

Bob, looks like a nice area. Where is it?

It's beautiful. I'd like to live there but I don't think there'd be many flying jobs for my husband. It's be nice to bring him along! :-)

VB, isn't that beautiful, I can imagine myself living there. You know, because of AR I would have a hard time chosing a place to live in this beautiful country!

I used to want to live out there like that, but I think I've pretty much gotten addicted to San Diego, the beaches, the Zoo...............
