Westhaven Harris Teeter Now Open

Harris Teeter hosted a special event called the "Taste of Teeter" exclusively for the residents of Westhaven.  The food market is located in the Westhaven Town Center.  The rain was coming down but that did not keep the residents away.  The parking lot was at maximum capacity and people were riding over in their golf carts even though it was raining.  It was quite a sight.  By the look of things, Westhaven residents were very pleased that the store finally opened.

Harris Teeter will continue to host grand opening events during the first three weekends after the opening.  Friday, October 30 thru Sunday, November 1, the e-Vic Mobile will be at the store giving shoppers an opportunity to sign-up to be an e-Vic member.  What is e-Vic?  e-Vic is a free service through which shoppers receive electric discounts.  By signing up for the program, shoppers will also receive notification each Wednesday when items they regularly buy are on sale; it's like having your own personal shopper scan the weekly ads and identify the best deals.

The following weekend, Friday, November 6 thru Sunday, November 8, the company is sending its Rancher Mobile Grill to the store so customers can sample the Harris Teeter Rancher NY Strip.  During the last grand opening weekend event from November 13 thru November 15, the Harris Teeter Ice Cream truck will be passing out free ice cream sandwiches to its customers.

The store is 48,000 square feet, open from 6 am to midnight.  It has a full service meat department, fishermans market, produce, custom floral department, fresh fruit bar, deli/bakery, european pastries, chef prepared foods to go, custom cakes including ice cream cakes, italian meat selection, artisan breads, organic foods, imported beers, a pharmacy, and sit-down eating area.

Harris Teeter is located on the west side of Franklin and is easily accessible to Franklin Green, Carlisle, Founders Pointe, Boyd Mill Estates, Cornerstone, Spencer Hall, Willowsprings, historic downtown Franklin, and Leipers Fork, as well as, Westhaven.  This is a welcome addition to this side of Franklin TN and will make it even easier for local residents to do their weekly shopping.
