Charles, nice photo of the seagull.  That's not Jonathan Livingston is it?  Of maybe that Lena!  Anyway, have a great Wednesday in Seattle.

That is the Golden Gate, right - not the Point Defiance Bridge:)  They both used to look similar except for that color - of course now that they put the second bridge up next to Point Defiance, I guess it is clear:)  Looks a lot like a Seattle Seagull.  I guess those Frisco birds look the same...

Charles - I think all the birds are hiding around here today - we are in a snow storm! - If I'm brave enough I might try to run out and get couple of pics. Brrr. ~Rita

A classic picture of a bird we love to hate sometimes!
I hope you are having a great week,

Reminds me of that video clip from Australia last week of the news anchor with the giant gull walking around behind him.  Pretty funny birds with knobby knees.  Great picture!

That is a Glaucous Winged gull and if one really looks at birds one will see major differences from one species of gull to the next.

Even with their differences, all of us will recognize a "sea gull"........even those of us on the East Coast!

Dottie, not too much difference whether it is a left side sea gull or a right side sea gull:)

The seagull is a familiar site along the Puget Sound waterfront.  Along with the droppings they leave behind.
