September new home sales dropped because of time running out for first time home buyer credit.

Here are the statistics for September for new home sales in America.  They fell 3.6 % to an annual rate of 402,000 down from 417,000 in August.

The median sales price for a home was 204,800 actually up from August price of 199,900.
