Here are two more fixes for MLS pictures.  This first picture is the original (not mine).  The second is what I could do with it in Elements which was basically to put in the blue sky and take out the time stamp.  The third picture is more of what should have been done in the first place.  Take the picture correctly.  I did have to add the blue sky and should have moved a bit to the left to get the front door but didn't think of that at the moment.  The third picture is from about 10 feet in the air.  I like those pictures.  It gives the picture a different look and maybe stand a out a bit more from the crowd.

Good tip and definitely the photos show more vibrancy with a little bit of work.  Thanks for sharing!

Thanks for an orignal and helpful post! When I see some photos that some people put in, I just cringe!

Here is a question; would you edit out the cracks in the driveway? I think it would look so much better for first impressions, but what about misrepresentation?

Gene - It's really quite amazing the difference the blue sky makes in those photos. . .Thanks for the tips!

Mary, I only edit what is temporary.  If it can be moved I edit it.  If it is permanent, it has to stay.  So if we were in Seattle, the gray sky would stay also (only kidding)

Myrl,  I use that sky in a lot of pictures.  It is quite nice.

Gene, again you give good reminders that with a little effort, mediocre photos can be improved. I also am on board with your greater point being that taking a better photo in the first place is the best place to focus one's efforts! Thanks.
