Senate to vote on Home buyer credit extension today.

I just received this and wanted to pass it along.  Here is an excerpt of what Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid is proposing.   Under Reid's plan, the $8,000 tax credit would be phased out over time, dropping to $6,000 in April, $4,000 in July, and $2,000 in October, before expiring at the end of 2010.

What are your thoughts?

We would love to see it extended to all home buyers. Thanks for sharing.

Dan and Amy,  I agree.  We have seen a rebound in several distressed neighborhoods in our area.

Good luck in your business,

This article actually says they were suppose to vote yesterday? This is what confuses me... it seems we are hearing constantly that this senator, or that one has a proposal that they are wanting to be attached to this bill or that, and it's going to be voted on SOON... yet there is never a bill referenced that we can actually check or track to confirm that is true. Same is true even in the article you have referenced. Let's just hope something gets done soon!
