It is ok, but not very personal, and not very memorable.

Hi Paul, I've been using this program for my buyers and sellers.  Especially the buyers love it, there is always a little something to do when you move into a new house, so the 10% off is really appreciated.  I doesn't even take much effort on my part and it's just a little extra that adds to the overall service I provide.

Hi Paul, I use this program too!  The buyers and sellers both love it. They send out a pfofessional piece that re-inforces me as their agent.  The coupon also comes in handy for them.  Any form of quality, and value that keeps me in front of clients is a great thing.  It takes minimal effort and it's free, what else can you get for nothing?

I use it and my clients love it too. I send it to my buyers when they move into their new home. I al so send it out to those that are looking to list with me.

Everyone likes a coupon, it is easy, free and keeps you in front of people.

I use it all the time.

It is always appreciated.

What better time for your client to get a home center spiff than when they just bought, or are listing a home for sale?

I've heard of the program a few times before but never implemented it. Time to take a serious look at it and add it to the client marketing plan.

I use it all the time.  I send it to sellers as soon as they list.  They use the coupons to spruce up the house.  As soon as a buyer closes, I send to them.  It gives them a discount on paint, appliances, new locks, etc.  It has all my info on it and I see it as an extra added bonus for my clients.

Nashville Home Stager - Selling Nashville, TN homes quickly!

Paul,

When I was actively selling real estate (I'm a full-time stager now) I used the Lowe's program and have mixed feelings on it. This is what I love about it:

  • It brands me with my clients
  • It is very economical (gotta love free)
  • Very easy to sign up for and send
  • Connects my name to a good, reptable company
  • It stresses the importance of preparing the home for the market

This is what I don't like about:

  • I would like to have the option to allow me to hand deliver it (yet another excuse to contact my client in person and develop the relationship even more)
  • I'd like to actually see the marketing piece my clients are getting - send me a sample

Overall, I think the good far outweighs the bad. Hope my comments were helpful!

Anthea, I signed up and sent the first one to my husband so that I could see a sample.

Paul, Thanks for reminding me of this program.  I've been meaning to sign up for three years and finally did so tonight because of your post.

I like the program and I have been getting positive feedback from it.  I signed myself up to receive it as well so I could see the same thing my clients receive.  I think its well worth the time to set it up and after all its free.

I think the program is pretty good.  The info and coupons they send out are branded so your clients have the impression its coming from you.  That much of it I can't see anything wrong with and though I haven't used it (yet) I have to think its a good program.

The piece about the program I'm hesitant on is they have the option to link to their site www.LowesMoving.com from your web site as a service to your web site visitors.  The problem with this is that the LowesMoving site has a list of Lowe's preferred vendors as well as provides the opportunity for a person to request market information.  So, in theory, someone could hit your site, then link to the Lowe's site, fill out the home market request, and you would have lost that lead as I see nothing on Lowe's site saying you would be notified of the request.  In fact, I assume a Realtor who subscribes to their vendors service would receive the lead.  I have similar tools available on my website and would not want to send a lead to Lowes that I could capture myself.  If the LowesMoving.com site was strictly marketing Lowe's and their products that would be one thing, but I'm not sure it's wise to link to this site as part of their Realtor program.  Has anyone else looked into the www.LowesMoving.com site?  Any other thoughts?

I also set my clients up on this the day after the sale and they are so surprised when they start receiving stuff from them, but are so pleased with the savings and ideas.

If you are not signed up, you really should.

I guess I can't sign up, I am not a licensed realtor. I am a licensed Loan Officer. Hmmm, I would definately like something like this though, great marketing piece and I do work with buyers who I am sure would greatly appreciate the 10% off as a gift.

I use it, and my clients really like it. It is also just another way to impress the buyers or sellers when they see something personalized with thier name and address.  The discounts are ok wish there were some other choices, but It is nice to have this for FREE!

I've been using if for the past two months and have heard nothing but THANK YOU's from all my clients. It seems when someone moves into a new home, there's always something they need to buy at a hardward store.  My last client called me to personally say thanks for the 10% coupon.  They were buying paint and a few other things and the total bill came to slighly over $700. They used the 10% off coupon and save over $70!!!  They were thrilled and called me to say thanks.  Anything that gets that type of response (for FREE) is worth a couple minutes on the Lowe's website!
