NEWS FLASH!! Senators strike a deal to extend tax credit.

I just received a text saying the credit has been extended to April 1 2010.

This is from Fox news just a few minutes ago.

Senators have struck a deal to extend a popular tax credit for home-buyers beyond those buying their first house,

Those who have lived in their residence for five consecutive years would be newly eligible for a $6,500 credit,

It appears as though the credit will be $8,000 for first time buyers and $6500 for those who have owned a home for more than five years.

Yeah!!

Like you, I'm anxious to see some details. News reports have indicated that a vote is expected on Tuesday when we will learn more of what the extension will like like.
