Wordless Wednesday...Nothing Stops Them

One morning as I set out for Charlottesville, I passed Sturgeon's Creek Marina on the shores of Lake Anna. As I was driving by I glanced at the water (I always do) and noticed the fog and a couple of fishermen setting off. I turned around, pulled in, and saw that they were having a fishing tournament. Quite a number of boats were lined up ready to go. I took several shots and here is one of them.

Wow, Kate, that's an incredible shot. It looks like a fog that I would want to go near.

Great shot Kate. My stepson has done a few bass tournaments there. Wait till I tell him he missed one. Oh my.

Great photo of the tournament, Kate. Glad the lake doesn't always look that full of boats so early in the morning.

Kathleen, it must have been cold with the water being warmer than the ambient temperature. Hope the fishing was good!

Seems like a great fall morning with the warmer water giving off the vapor to create the fog on a cool morning. :)

You really captured and presented this water scene in a striking, evocative of misty mornings on water poetic sort of way. How many people just rode by? This needs framed and hung somewhere fitting.
