Lynda, that is beautiful local color. I miss the color but not enough to move up north. Our leaves will turn in December but they just turn brown and fall. The good news is that they are back on in March.

Lynda - I sooo agree with you. We have some beautiful leaves. They are just not quite as prevalent as other parts of the country. I have only been to Idyllwild once but loved it. Hope to visit again.

Lynda what an awesome shot, I love the peak appearing over the top of the colorful trees. It is nice to see scenes from all over the country.

Hi friends, so nice to hear from you all. I took this photo because so many people really don't think we have much color here in SoCal. Does it compare to the east coast, probably not, yet still beautiful to me.

Hey Joan ~ I'm sure it doesn't compare to your neck-of-the-wood, but we love it!

Very nice shot. We had some great fall scenes here in Utah as well. Then snow. Don't know what is left at this point.
