I love Cultus lake in the summer - but so do a lot of other people! There's something cool about walking on the beach in the Fall though........Choppy waves.....crisp, cool breeze...and autumn leaves competing for beach space with the sand.

The wharves sway desolate enjoying the rhythm of the waves...

Sailboats whisper 'finally its just you and me'....!

There's no one out there...

Hi Liz ~ I think a walk on the beach is good for the soul any time of year!

I love the quietness of the photos but I could feel the chill in the air. Did you plunk your butt down on that bench for a bit?

It was yesterday - oh the snow will be a coming rita - savoring this for the moment!........:-) Thanks Debe!.....You know Jenny I didn't - it was toooooo chilly! And Melinda - you are absolutely right!

Love the sunbeams, and I could feel that cool damp breeze too. Great shots, now I need something warm to drink.

Liz - You have some great shots of sunbeams peeking through the clouds.

Beautiful, Liz. It looks cold, but I'd take a walk by the water in any temperature (as long as the water is still moving - which here ... it doesn't).

How far is this from you?

Sylvie -Ha! I just about called you Toronto - I've done a couple of posts on Cultus Lake Before - summer ones - its gorgeous then - I used to live there......
