Enhancing my Existing Business by reaching out to clients, Past, Present & Future, through my blog!
Since becoming an active blogger on Activerain, I have been posting my blogs everywhere I can think of . Of course, if it weren't for Activerain, I would not know how add my blog everywhere. My email signature contains a link to my blog, I’ve added my blog to my business cards, website and newsletter. Sometimes I use my blogs IN my newsletter. Believe it or not, I still send out an old fashioned newsletter to everyone in my neighborhood! It still works for me!
I post a lot of blogs regarding special events in our area. I then, add them into an email that goes out to all of my clients…Past, Present and Future. They all appreciate the update on what's happening in the area.
I also write a lot of blogs about special days or holidays. Those also get added into an email and sent to my email database of clients... Past, Present & future. What better way to say Happy Earth Day than with a blog post titled “ It Ain't Easy being Green, or is it”? Packed with ideas about living green and saving money at the same time. It’s also a great way to say, "Hey, I haven’t forgotten about you".
My blog is linked to my facebook profile, my twitter profile, my linkedin profile, and my naymz profile. As soon as I figure out the procedure, it will be linked to my amazon profile. A lot of my clients, past present & future are friends or contacts on all of my profiles so it is a very easy way to remind them that I am here. I get a lot of replies from my blog posts on Facebook.
My most recent way of reaching out to clients is through a series of Localism Posts I wrote about specific communities in my area (Thank You Bob Stewart). Now, on the home page of our website, you will see a link to relocation information. That link takes you to my blog. In regards to buyers that haven’t quite made up their minds…They are receiving my new Localism Blog Series of Communities in the Area via email, in hopes of helping them decide which neighborhood is right for them.

I have also used the skills I have learned from other bloggers to enhance my website, marketing tools, etc. I can't wait to learn more from my friends here on Activerain as I know they have some amazing ways of using their blogs to enhance their exhisting business.
