The following breeds are now recognized by the AKC:

Collie + Lhasa Apso = Collapso, a dog that folds up easy for transporting

Spitz + Chow Chow = Spitz-Chow, a dog that throws up alot

Pointer + Setter = Poinsetter, a traditional Christmas pet

Great Pyrenees + Dachshund = Pyradachs, a puzzling breed

Pekingnese + Lhasa Apso = Peekasso, an abstract dog

Irish Water Spaniel + English Springer Spaniel = Irish Springer, a dog fresh and clean as a whistle

Newfoundland + Basset Hound = Newfound Asset Hound, a dog for financial advisors

Terrier + Bulldog = Terribull, a dog that makes awful mistakes

Bloodhound + Labrador = Blabador, not a popular dog with CIA agents

Malamute + Pointer = Moot Point, owned by... oh, well, it doesn't matter anyway

Collie + Malamute = Commute, a dog that travels to work

Deerhound + Terrier = Derriere, a dog that's true to the end

A blabador, hahahhaha, you make me laugh, Gary. How about cats? Like a cross between a Maine Coon and a Bengal would be a Mengal. Mengals are transvestites.

Gary, entertaining...however...the one that caught my eye or ears was the "Peekasso"...I guess it's just the way my mind works, but this one made me laugh!

I like Peekasso as well, wonder if I could hire to paint my house? Interesting. Great post...enjoyed it!

Ahhhhhhhhh I love dogs more then people, thanks for the post!

Since I come from a large family of eight kids who liked to talk a lot, I loved the Blabador! It seems some of my siblings should own one of these dogs. A dog says a lot about it's owner as they say.

I will never look at my labs (yes...I'm dumb enough to own two huge slobbery hairballs) the same way again. What a hoot! Lucky thing my female lab is spayed so I don't have to worry about a potential leak of state secrets.

Those are wonderful. I really like the idea of a collapsing dog for easy transport.

Oh Gary, I couldn't get past the beautiful photo. This looks just like Mulligan, the best dog of all time. I still miss him to this day, almost 4 years after having to let him go. Thank you for sharing this beautiful boy with us!

Lahsa Apso + Shih Tzu = something our dog does quite often in the back yard

Gary - This is very funny and very clever. Our old dog resembles a collapso as he travel well and collapses quite often .
