Bob asked us to share if we are Using our blog to enhance existing relationships
Bob asked specifically:
"Do you use your blog posts in a monthly newsletter that you send to your past clients? What kinds of posts are you including?"
Well Bob as long as you ask...
Yes I do.
I have.
Actually I have included links to blog posts most months since I started my first blog back in 2005.

This month I am doing it a bit different for "oh so many" reasons.
I am posting my Outside Blog's Market Reports!
The bane of other agents, boring market reports...
The source of hyper-local Google juice!
Posting links to the market reports will not give my Real Living E - newsletter Google juice. It will allow readers of the E-newsletter to see how the Central Ohio real estate market is doing in smaller increments than what they get from the local news.
A present or past client receiving the emailed newsletter or reading the newsletter on my website could subscribe to my blog. There is a subscription link at the bottom of each post for their convenience.
I aim to please.
Here is a link to the present E-newsletter, publishing tomorrow:
November 2009 - E-newsletter on MaureenMcCabe.com <--- Link will always be to the current E-newsletter on my company website.
I will admit. I went the last month or two without putting blog content on my email newsletter. There was a probem. One month or two? I thought if I turned off the newsletter the problem would go away.... WRONG.
I have done other blog content in the past. Local events, event calendars, polls. The newsletter goes away after the month (it's got no Google Juice ... boo) other content I have shared big new local real estate announcements like Real Living's Peace of Mind Program... when Columbus makes a national list...reallly whatever I feel like sharing from my blogs at the time.
I have used it with my WordPress blog and my original blog more than my ActiveRain blogs... but I have shared the content via links to my ActiveRain Outside blogs before too.
This month I am using content from my Outside blogs.
Here's a post where I was waiting for the Real Living Newsletter impatiently in late May:
Real Living Newsletter Broken or Breaking News?

In May in a Members Only post I said
"Real Living agents,
Do you do the Real Living E-Newsletter?
Either mine is broken today or the information is not available because of something historic that I believe is going to be in the June 2009 issue. Broken or breaking news?
Here's mine:
The June 2009 eNewsletter on MaureenMcCabe.com once it's published of course the links will all work.
I " jazz" mine up. I have for a long time, before blogging my E-newsletter was more of a priortiy for me. Now I use my online content (blog stuff) to supplement my Real Living E- newsletter. "
The newsletter was delayed for breaking news. It was historic.
The link in the quote from my May post would go to the current version of the E- newsletter so I broke it...
So I am sending out market reports in November. Would I do that same content every month? Nope.
