It's so arrogant....and unbelievable..I'm on my way to read the sickening power grab....we don't have a lot of time, but there's still hope

Thanks for posting. I will make my way through this. It looks like the new tactic is to draft thousands of pages to overwhelm the American public.

This is nuts! 1,990 pages of ways to take away our freedoms. Cant wait to see what comes of this.

Alice, I was at meeting last night with various speakers, one of which was someone in the insurance industry. He said that the Gov't run health care plan is modeled after the State of Mass. plan. Also he said that 1.2 million people in Britain and 800K in Canada are waiting (sometimes months) to see a primary care physician. They may see a doctor right away, but wait to see a specialist. He said quality is not guaranteed under the Gov't plan and it will be the Gov't choice whether or not they will provide the necessary care people will need.

Another note: This is not supposed to take affect until 2013, why are they rushing this down our throats. My theory, they want to pass it now so they can perfect it along the way to their specific design just as the bankers did when setting up The Federal Reserve. Their goal was to get it passed and strengthen it in their favor along the way.

Tony, The bill allows them to start cutting Medicare Advantage and other programs, taxing medical device makers and levy other taxes to build their coffers before the first benefit is ever seen. This is how they will make the program appear to be deficit neutral. The full program does not implement until 2016, just before his second term ends - when it is too damn late.

The power grab is huge. I have been reading Atlas Shrugged and Wow does that make you stop and think. To think she wrote it back in the 1950's.

The entire USA government is already on the verge of bankruptcy, so let's create another massive expense that will never be able to be delivered upon. If the ship is already sinking, what's another iceberg.
