Due to the success of the $8,000 first time home buyer tax credit Congress looks like it will extend. We should learn in the next few hours to days.

The new extention may go to spring and expire at the end of April 2010 with additional provisions to current home owners.

Rueters reports that the Obama administration is pressing Congress today to back a limited extension of the credit.

Key senators agreed this week on a proposal to extend.

So I will be watching the news wire and update when something changes.

Now if your still trying to close before the November deadline drop me a note or give me a call. With our fast underwriting we can still meet the end of November deadlines.

I like your post better since it isn't advertising it like a done deal:)  Looks like it will go through, though, doesn't it?  Of course last time it looked like the $15k would go through, too...  Time will tell.

I keep checking to see an update on this info. I imagine with all the tragedy in Ft Hood and Orlando, this has been pushed on the back burner today. I haven't missed it yet, have I?
