What's the hurry, even if it passed and was signed today, it wouldn't start covering people for over three years even though they would start charging people for it now.   Now why do you think they wrote it to start covering people THREE years from now if it is such an emergency that it has to be done today?

I am...I am appalled.

Why can a citizen not purchase private health insurance after 2013?  Why is that specifically outlawed? (Section 202)

Why does section 330 allow the congress to OPT out of the mandatory "governement run" plan?

WHy does section 501 impose a 2.5% tax if I choose NOT to have insurance?  How does that make sense?

Those are just the make no sense provisions I see...there are ton more that are objectionable, like abortion coverage and not verification of a persons identity in order to qualify for benefits.  It's not a good bill and I predict that it can not pass like it is.

Ron, i will re-read or fast forward to the items you point out here.. I am now on page 586..

Could you please tell me what pages you found these items so i can expidite reading them to better my understanding...

I commend you for reading the Bill yourself and not listening to any paty 'hate bites" on this Bill.

I too prefer reading the whole Bill before listening to the media soundbites...........

Better READ some more.............

I re-read Section 202 three times... and then found the TRUTH..after NOT seeing what you read.........

Limbaugh falsely claimed House bill "prohibits the sale" of private individual insurance

October 30, 2009 Rush Limbaugh falsely claimed that "page 94" of the recently released House health care bill "prohibits the sale of private individual health insurance policies beginning in 2013." IT IS A LIE.........

In fact, the provision at issue states that private individual policies can be sold, but only through the Health Insurance Exchange and subject to its regulations.

Regulations put in place to protect us the consumers from price gouging among other things..............
