My owner is a home inspector in San Diego. We have many budding authors here at ActiveRain, and some who have gone beyond the budding stage.

If you just like to read, though, check out the ActiveRain Book Club.

One of the recent posts in the ActiveRain Book Club is from our very own Carra Riley who has a book that is in the pre-publishing stage. She would like our help in making it the best it can be, so if you'd like to read and review the PDF version of her book, please leave a comment here letting her know.

For Guerrilla Marketing folks, this is a great way to get something that just might help you, and for little or nothing. All you need to do is spend a couple of hours reading it and then review it for Carra. You don't even need to review it as a blog post, but that would get you 225 points! ☺♫☺♫☺

Russel and all group members,

You are really what the rain is all about!  Thank you so much... so anyone wanting a free copy of the pdf.. just contact me and I would love to e-mail it to you!   You can activerain me or e-mail me at Carra@CarraRiley.com

I am excited to hear from all of you and even more excited to read what you have to say!  I need constructive help on editing.. ideas.. just anything you see which could improve the read.. We are in the final editing stages so I can change anything and welcome your input!

The book is called "Cosmic Cow Pie...Connecting the dots"  It includes concepts you know, framed in easy to follow principles to help balance your life.  It is a cross between "Who Moved My Cheese and Don't Sweat the Small Stuff."  It is about a 2 hour read and the chapters are written to stand alone.. so easy to put down and pick back up!  With 30 years in real estate sales many of my examples are things you will relate to!

If you are willing to write a couple sentence review similar to what you will see in the front of the book... I would love to include them on my website with a link to your website by your name.. you can check out other reviews at www.CosmicCowPie.com fill in your name and e-mail then go to the REVIEW section.. there are videos and written reviews... if you like it well enough to send me a video of your review I would be ecstatic to share that too!

Russel and Zoey you rock!   Thank you for this opportunity to share!

You are so cool to do this, Russel.  I have had the privilege of reading it myself and it's fantastic.  I can't wait to get it in my hot little hands once it's published.  Carra promised me she'd even sign it for me.

Hey, Chris - That is my cat. Her name is Zoey the Cool Cat. He's a rescued cat from the El Cajon Animal Shelter and has been with us for a little over two years now. She likes to keep track of me Playing in the Rain because sometimes there are points glitches and instead of earning points, they disappear. She doesn't like it when that happens - LOL. For example, she noticed that 576 points disappeared yesterday from my profile and 457 disappeared from Jim Frimmer's profile. And all we did was go to Palm Springs and Joshua Tree National park to celebrate our first anniversary. We'll never do that again! LOL

Hey, Carra - Thanks for the kind words and the offer to everyone. I got my copy and was wondering how I was going to read 163 pages in just two hours. Then I noticed it was double-spaced. Whew!

Hey, Heather - Well, well, well. Aren't you lucky. She didn't offer to sign a copy for me! LOL

Hey, Gary - I see you've got a copy coming.

Hey, Larry - I'm trying to grow the book club because I'm sure there are more than just a few of the 163,000 ActiveRain members who read books.
