I need me a trip to New Orleans! There are so many places there I haven't seen, although I am quite familiar with the French Quarter.

I think there's a version of this balcony style in Quebec, in Canada, in the "old town" sections of Quebec City and of Montreal. At one point, the French "owned" all that space, between Quebec (called New France) and Louisiana, no??? Good thing they left that balcony design for us all to enjoy, now.

Love the balconies in French Quarter especially when all the flowers are blooming.

Ahhhh, one of my favorite sights to see. Whether its off St Charles or in the quarter, those balconies just beckon.
