Feel free to peruse the trails on your bikes or by foot. Dogs are welcome and trails are mostly off leash, so pets can roam freely...just like in the old days.

For the more extreme biker/hiker, Bellingham and Whatcom Falls neighborhood is the home of Galbraith mountain. Galbraith mountain boast world class (in my opinion) cross country biking. The bike trails are endless with a wide array of trails ranging from easy & flat to technical & tricky to steep & challenging. Hikers are welcomed on the trails, as are free roaming pooches or ditties (free roaming kitties that may act like/look like a dog).

If you're looking to cool off or just relax waterside, Lake Whatcom isn't too far of a drive (5 minutes) or bikeride (10 minutes) to partake. Lake Whatcom is 14 miles long, allowing for water skiing and jet skiing, sailing, or tubing. If you have youngsters, Whatcom Falls neighorhood's school district would be Carl Cozier elementary, Kulshan Middle & Bellingham High.
