Updating Kitchens and Bathrooms, Grants Pass Oregon
Kitchens and bathrooms, a woman's preference.
If you're preparing to invest money to upgrade your home with a future sale in mind, make sure you spend wisely!
Updating Kitchens and Bathrooms are your best bets. With most women, I think the kitchen is likely the first concern and then the bathrooms.

This kitchen if built today, rathen than five years ago would most likely have slab granite counter tops. My last home had beautiful tile throughout, but when we went to buy our current home my wife said "it's slab granite or nothing!" Make sure if you're going to do your floors in wood, to spend the extra money and get the genuine article, otherwise you might as well leave whatever you have on there, because you will not improve the value with vinyl or imitaion wood floors, so go with quality wood or tile and you'd be surprised at how much of your money you will get back when you sell.

I know with my wife when we purchased our home last year, the first thing was the kitchen, after that the bathrooms, but no matter how fancy the bathroom, if the kitchen wasn't good, she would pass on it.
Updating the rest of the home pales in comparison to Updating Kitchens and Bathrooms.
That pretty much sums it up! For re-sale, too, it's worthwhile to add some caution about making very specific choices with woods and colors in general. If you're going to be there 10 years, you have more flexibility with those decisions.
Thanks!
