Foto Friday

Not often that I get to see an almost full moon while it is still day light. Who knows maybe we will have a full moon for halloween.

I've only seen this a few times myself. This time of the yea the moon is quite large in the sky.

That is a pretty wild picture; the contrast with the gray sky is spectacular.

Charles I was lucky to have the camera with me, because by the time I would have gotten home it would have been dark.

Tom I was surprised that it came out as good as it did.

That's pretty cool. Once in awhile I get a shot in the morning with the moon up...It's like having night and day in the morning :)

Sally I don't think I have ever seen it in the morning, maybe it is because I don't get up early enough ....... LOL

We've just been mooned by George Souto, in the late afternoon!

George - hmmm, we have the same moon tonight. But it's now quite dark and very clear so it shows beautifully. Wish U had a camera that could do night shots well.

Jeff I wish I had one that could also, but mine does not capture light very well so anything in the dark does not come out.

Great shot George! Lucky catch! Looks like we have a glowing full moon up here in Canada for Hallowe'en! Hope your our Yankies are as good at catching tonight as you were. Also hope we only get treats not any tricks out there on the field!

My husband noticed the moon last night also. He said it looked like almost a full moon. I never did look up tonight to see what was up there for Halloween.

George nice shot! I've tried to take pictures of the moon that appears right before the sun sets and end up with the sky but no moon. I need to take some photography lessons. LOL

Maggie, my camera does not work very well either if there is not enough light. This shot was taken just before dusk.
