I did it when I was in college.....I am glad I did....I don't know how I would feel about those crowds now.....

Julie, I lived in Fernandina Beach, Florida, just north of Jacksonville for 26 years and I remember Gerogia Florida weekend as always being very wild! With it being on Halloween this year, it could get really crazy.

I imagine most of you do as we do, try to avoid the traffic from all the visitors coming for the event - almost as many people stay here as stay there for the event. There will be lots of parties today and very little real estate - it is considered an annual holiday for south Georgia.

Julie: Thanks so much for this reminder!!! I probably would have missed the game and now I'm thinking about all the snacks and goodies to make so I can sit down and enjoy it. You've made my rainy day here in North Georgia.
