It seems our Fall colors are now fading and the leaves are mostly on the ground, but these photos were taken a couple of days ago in Maggie Valley, with some pretty 'colorful' results.

Did you know Google made a big 'real estate' move Friday? Search for real estate on Google maps...

Did you know Dakno is customizing pages on Posterous? Here's what they did for my Posterous. I worked with Bobby Carroll of Dakno. You can reach him on Twitter at @rewebcoach.

Dakno also created my beautiful horse website, Horsealicious.

If you are planning to visit Maggie Valley and Waynesville and wondering about the recent rock slide and how to get here, here are alternate routes with maps to get to Haywood County.

It's beautiful down here in the Piedmont now, but we don't get those brilliant reds like you do up there. Thanks for sharing.

Ok your posterous blog looks amazing. I was going to have them customize mine, then I figured out how to change the header. So I did it.

But, now looking at yours...............

I will contact them on Monday and have them completely do mine.

Susie, it looks awesome.

Last Monday we had to have our annual fall trip to find apples at Balsam.  We swung by Maggie Valley for a few minutes.  Of course, we know that we can find apples closer to home, but we have to have an excuse to visit the mountains and see the leaves.

Barbara, this morning all the leaves appear to be in my hard... so I think our color is gone. ;-(

Cindy, I love the reds when they are with the orange and golds too. Thank you.

Harry, yes once the leaves fall I'm ready to have the snow 'make it pretty' again!

Hey Lori, it's windy and rainy here this morning and the leaves are falling.

Missy, thanks so much! I like Posterous so much that I wanted Bobby's help.

Paul and Diane, I hope you enjoyed your time in Maggie Valley. Thank you...

That does it!  I'm going on a hunt today for some leaves with great fall colors.  I'm seeing amazing pictures being posted from all over the country!  There's nothing like that here in Sacramento, unless I'm hanging out in the wrong places:-)  Those are really nice pictures Susie!

Maggie Valley is gorgeous at its peak Susie and you have to be "quick" with the camera to capture it. Great stuff!!
