My family here in Venice Florida has so much fun on Halloween.  We carve pumpkins, go downtown to the Venice Mainstreet Halloween Parade where children dress up and walk down mainstreet for everyone to see.  Then it is time for all the merchants pass out sweet sweet candy to everyone.  It is loads of fun.

Kari, I hope your and your family have a fun halloween also.  It sounds like the weather forecast is about the same for here in Maryland.

I really like the pumpkins as they are carved in the traditional famnily way. I am sure you all sat around the table with newspaper under the pumkins with one of those pumpkin caribving knives. Thanks for the post

Barbara -  Glad to hear there is no snow up in Maryland.  My aunt lives there and it can get pretty cold this time of year.

Janice - Thanks, we had much fun making them.

Charlie - We did!  We also baked the pumpkin seeds and sprinkled with a little salt.  The kids loved it.
