I just want to take this opportunity to wish everyone a fun filled Halloween today and this evening.
In the Greater Sacramento area, there are a number of activities, which your family may enjoy to help celebrate the day.
There are several Haunted Attractions in Sacramento, for those of you who feel no Halloween is complete without having the "beejeepers" scared out of you! Some of these attractions are "relatively" kid friendly. They can be accessed via: Haunted Attractions in Sacramento.
There are also area pumpkin patches which offer last minute fun for the whole family to be enjoyed. These are listed at Sacramento Area Pumpkin Patches.
Above all - Stay Safe! Have Fun! and Enjoy the Day!
Happy Halloween to you, Myrl. The biggest problem I have is we can't go out to dinner at 5 PM because it's too early, hahahhaha, so I'm stuck having to hand out candy for a while tonight. At least my husband is carving a pumpkin for the kids. Oh, and if you want to read my cancel Halloween article, go to my other site on About. I put it on my home page.
Shirley - For some reason I have about as much energy as a toad on Ritalin, but I'm sure I'll still get a kick out of forking over the candy:-)
TLW - I'm still in pirate mode from last Saturday. . .AAArrh!
Ann - I've got mine. . .The weather is really nice here, so I'm expecting a herd of kids!
Elizabeth - WHERE is that blog you did last year about trick or treaters. . .You need to reblog it, and pick up a Papa Murphy's Pizza to throw in the oven later this evening. Somehow I can envision you drawing the curtains, putting on headsets and watching a movie on that wonderful entertainment center you have, while pretending to not be home. . .LOL
Happy Halloween to you Myrl! My kids and I checked out a few neighborhood haunted houses last night! But they are really looking forward to tonight...candy, candy and more candy!
It looks like you have something for everyone out in the Sacramento area, Myrl. Thanks for your reminder for everyone to be careful and safe and to enjoy the events safely.
Terrie - I was out to a little community called Sloughhouse today. There is a nice Farmer's Market and pumpkins, gourds, and activities. It was a great place to spend some time on Halloween.
Sharon - I was amazed at the number of available activities here in Sacramento.
Toula - It seems quieter here this year, for some reason.
Sharon - I'm sitting here wondering if there really was any life before Snickers:-)
Terry - Ah yes, the joys of childhood:-)
Joan - You know, I'll bet it's "bejeebers" here too. . .and I've just been saying it wrong. . .LOL
Carole - It is nice once it begins to quiet down and you don't need to feel like a Jack in the Box everytime the doorbell rings.
Mary - I did have a little fun. . .albeit without too much ghoulish fun:-)
