Tonight we will end Daylight Savings Time. Turn your clocks back an hour (fall Back). It is also a good time to change batteries in smoke alarms. Fire Departments says working smoke alarms double a person's chances of surviving a fire.

FYI just so you know next year in 2010 Daylight savings will end in the second week of November.

Change the batteries in your carbon monoxide alarms, too. And if you don't have carbon monoxide alarms in your home, install them. Carbon monoxide is a deadly gas that is a byproduct of burning anything organic. It has no odor, no taste, no color, and can kill overnight while you sleep.
