This is an idea that has endured for a very long time so I guess it must be useful. I never fully understood why we didn't adjust our activities instead of our clocks but that's a personal problem. With the proliferation of clocks in our appliances and electronics, I'm just glad I don't have to reset them all now that I live in Hawaii.
