Pumpkin In FieldIt amazes me both in real estate and in life how resistive we are to change. Change is constant and you are not going to stop it. I think as we get older we want things to freeze in place, our income, our friends, our settings, our way of doing things. It is not going to happen. But two things to hang your hat on in handling change in a fast moving world:

1) The more things change the more they stay the same. Some things are seasonal and cyclical like holidays. Enjoy the new characters inserted into those traditions.

2) Serenity - separate the out of control change from that change which you can impact. It will give you peace.

                           Happy Halloween to everyone!!!

Your point about serenity is sound. It just doesn't pay to stress over that which you can not change.

We all want time to stop. Or maybe just our bodies.

Gary - Those are two super points regarding change.  Am re-reading "Who Moved my Cheese ? " and really getting into it.  I can be resistant to change sometimes and these are great reminders of how great it is : )

I think change frightens some people. It's an unknown factor, and they are not comfortable with change. But I love adventure and view change as an opportunity to explore, grow and learn!
