"My Publisher"

While most of us don't commit hundreds of photographs to print anymore, many of us have gazillions of bytes worth of photos sitting in our hard drives. Wouldn't it be nice if someone else could see them? How about the photos of your most recent vacation? Or your daughters' wedding?

Better yet, wouldn't this be a great marketing tool? "Homes SOLD in 2009", or "Homes Staged in 2009", maybe?

My Publisher is a terrific medium for just that!  In My Publisher, you can create a photobook, a really nice first class book, of your photos. You have a choice of sizes, styles, templates, and covers (even leather if you want it!) that will make your photobook unique. The software is free, and once you've finished creating your book, you can email it to friends, and/or have it published and shipped to you. According to their website, they've shipped more than 5 MILLION Photobooks since 2002! Gotta be doing something right...

The interface is easy to use, and I can attest to the quality. I had one made last year for my husband for Valentine's Day, and I was very pleased with the results. They shipped it fast - I like FAST! I plan to have another made this year to share as Christmas gifts.

Along the top are the photos you want in your book that you have dragged and dropped into the interface. In the center is your book layout (which you choose for each page). Here you can decide which photos you want where. You can have 1 - 12 photos per page, in your choice of layout. Along the bottom you'll find basic editing tools available. The crop tool is very useful here, and does not effect your original photograph.
