REBARCAMP-CARYNC Just a note that I am looking forward to attending and speaking at the Real Estate bar Camp RDU in Cary NC this coming Friday November 6, 2009. I feel honored to have been asked to share as a Thought Leader! This will be a great opportunity to meet so many of my Active Rain friends. I will be doing a session on The Internet and Blogging. This is the fundamentals of a successful real estate web business in everyday plain language. I promise, I will not use any "Geek Speak!" I will try to demonstrate from the inceptions of choosing a domain name, to implimentation - the cost effectiveness, driving web traffic, SEO and Blogging for Dollars!

The Internet for over 12 years has provided the bulk of my business, and is the perfect business model for a bad economy.

Jim-they picked a top notch agent to help them pull it together. All of the ReBar Camps I've attended the sessions aren't set up before the camp but when everyone gets there. Sounds like this one might be taking a little different approach.

Jim, I'm so glad to see that you'll be at ReBar Camp next week. I told someone today that my goal for 2010 is that 50% of my business will come from the internet. I'm looking forward to hearing what you have to say as I continue to try to improve what I'm doing! BTW, we met at RETech South in March. Connie

Jim, have fun. I will miss seeing everyone. I was invited to speak too and would love to have gone to North Carolina.

But, it is my son's wedding so family first.

I've spoken at RE Tech South this year, and it was a very casual atmosphere. Normally, I speak nationally on the Web and Internet topics, but I can do either and even an impromptu session. I believe I will have 20-25 minutes to present and then open it up for Q&A.

In these sessions, no one is paid, so the expenses are reasonable. However, I also do speaking engagements, but I have not been to your state yet. You can always ask your local board to invite me for an event. I'd love to go, and even take a few extra days! :)
