2009 Chili Cookoff at The Sedalia Center - Big Island, VA

What a great way to spend an afternoon in Bedford County, Virginia! The 13th annual Chili Cook-off took place today at the Sedalia Center in Big Island. Even with an overcast sky and threat of rain, there was a great turnout and an impressive variety of Chili to sample with 35 participating teams. Music was provided by Work Release and the rain held off long enough for us to try every one of the chili's. Check The Sedalia Center's website for upcoming events.

I am getting in the mood for chilli.. Yummy.

My wife took off for work today and put me in charge of making Chili for the neighborhood! I didn't do too bad.. One gal said it was the best she ever had.

Yummy - did you eat enough for me too? Pictures really tell the story!

Sounds great! This is definitately Chili season. Leaves falling, temperatures dipping, and football on the tube!
