Ok...one more piece of candy and I'm going to burst!!! It was great seeing the kids out tonight having a great time! I think I had 100 kids! I'm glad the snowy lawns didn't scare them away!

I'm looking forward to doing an open house tomorrow to get away from the candy bowl. Oh wait...I'm bringing it with me! Ok friends...stop by my open at 5108 Southern St. Brighton, CO 80601 and help me eat the candy! Don't leave me to my own defenses! It won't be pretty!

Hope everyone had a happy and safe halloween. Have a great night!

Shirley we only had about 60 kids.  I'm glad the kids had fun that's what it is all about.

Shirley, I always bring the candy to the Open House, it makes it a lot of fun and when parents bring their kids it is an extra big hit.

We had only 4 kids (2 groups of 2). And we don't even live in a gated community! :-)

Well, more candy for me and my 13 year old who decided he was too old to trick-or-treat. My 10 year old girl went to her friend's house and wondered around in that neighborhood.

WoW!! 60 and 100 sound like the 'old days'. Few go house to house except for a few friends children. Today several organizations, churches, and business' have programs for the kids. Safety is foremost.

This morning an animal hospital in Calabash NC was getting ready for their program. Staff was in costume early. Games and huge blow up places to play were brought in. There were refreshments for the kids and their pets.

The kids had a great time and parents not only did not have to drive them all over the area but did not have to be concerned about the treats collected.

Progress comes in many ways!
