Very cool ! :-) The Olympic Torch willl be coming through Chilliwack on February 7 - with a big Street Celebration Happening at The Prospera Centre - mark your calendar and be there~!
The Vancouver 2010 Olympic Torch Relay Started in Victoria Last Night Last Night Thousands of Victorians, News Reporters and Politicians... Lined the Streets in Victoriain Light Rain, to watch the Start of the Coast to Coast 4500 Kilometer Trek across Canada. The final Stop will be Whistler BC February 12, 2010 for the Start of the 2010 Olympic Winter Games.
Yesterday around 6 PM ....Many Re/Max Realtors, Staff and Family members from my Office at Re/Max Camosun, gathered to watch the Torch relay travel through the Oak Bay Village

Liz--Thanks for reminding me about the torch relay. In 1996 it came through Erie, PA in front of my girl friends home. Next day I got up early to see it leave. My last purchase in Alaska was a jade figurine, Inuksuk, symbol of the Vancouver Olympics.
