Welcome to all our new members! We are so excited about this fast growing new group which is dedicated to "PhotoBlogging". By William's definition, as stated in the Group Rules, photoblogging is:

A major portion of the goals for this group is to provide a type of photo journalism that would present our photos in better presentation form. By presentation form, I mean in a different more complete way than just adding a picture to a post. It could be a single photo or it might be a slide show that should have more to it than just photos. It might be a series of photos that creates a story.

ActiveRain has a requirement for it's posts that receive points toward a members standing, that it contain no less than 50 words along with any photo, video or slide show.

Respecting that requirement, the ActiveRain Photo Blogger Group will also require at least the minimum number of words (50) in the description or story.

Photos, videos, or slide show presentations with no minimum word description will regretfully be deleted from the group.

So, there you have it Gang! Our group is different, our goals are different - It's not just about the photos - it's about PHOTOBLOGGING!

And remember - the photos used in your blog MUST BE YOUR OWN PHOTOS! We recommend you sign or watermark your photos.

BTW - anyone interested in using the Group Logo, (as is - make no changes please), in their photoblogging posts, may feel free to do so - It belongs to the group!
