I recently read an article in Parade about how your credit can affect you when looking for a job. This market is reeking havoc on home owners facing foreclosure. Most feel is if they have no hope or options. They get frustrated as they attempt to contact their lenders with no real answers or help. In despair they allow their homes to fall into foreclosure.

In our technology age of information, more and more Employers are looking at an individuals credit report for all kinds of jobs. What used to be reserved for specific sensitive jobs are now common place. A foreclosure is one huge black mark not only for getting credit, it also is hurting your employment ability.

There are many options available offering HOPE facing these challenges. Working with an agent that understands the process of a Short Sale with the lenders, educating Sellers on all the options as well as consequences is extremely important. Timing is essential.

Loan modifications are options for some of the people some of the time as well. A good agent helps you explore and understand what is best for them.

Who do you know that needs to explore their options.

I have a client whose promotion was delayed because he had participated in a "short sale" which adversely affected his credit score.  The promotion eventually "came-through" but not until his HR department thoroughly reviewed his situation.

That's a perfect example where people dont take this in to consideration. Thanks for the feedback.
