For most people this means rushing to plan the big feast. Stuffing ourselves with turkey, pie, and all sorts of heavy foods and falling into a vegetative state for a couple of days...
Let's not forget the spirit of Thanksgiving: being grateful for what we have and helping others by giving. One of my mentors, Tony Robbins, used to spend thanksgiving driving around town giving food to the poor.
Most of us do not have that type of a commitment to charitable work, but I invite you to do whatever you can to help just one family not feel left out of this celebration of gratitude.
